Suzan Steinberg, owner of Stonemountain & Daughter, will give us a tour of her newly “refreshed” store plus a presentation of new fabrics. Think scuba fabric, double gauzes and more. The Department of Media Arts at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is calling for women skilled in hand sewing and professional seamstresses, to hand sew clothing articles together as part of the performance and art installation Alterations (1994-95), in the museum galleries during the regular opening hours of the museum.
